Housing Projects
Restoring Dignity. Building Hope.
One Family at a Time.

Our Housing Work
A Home Is More Than Four Walls
The Veronica Maina Foundation restores dignity and hope through transformative housing initiatives across Murang'a County — constructing safe and decent homes for families who have been left behind. We believe stable shelter is the foundation upon which all other progress is built.

Kiharu Constituency
A Grandmother Remembered
In Kiharu Constituency, the Foundation stepped in to support Priscah — a vulnerable grandmother living in a dilapidated structure with her family. Through ongoing efforts and the compassion of many who believed no one should be forgotten, her shelter has been transformed.
Her story is not just about a house. It is about a grandmother who now sleeps safely at night. It is about grandchildren who grow up knowing they have a dignified home.
Priscah's story is a reminder that every act of compassion ripples outward — touching not just one life, but an entire family's future.

Kandara Constituency
Rising From the Ashes
In Kagono Village, Kandara Constituency, a devastating fire in 2025 destroyed the home and belongings of Mr. and Mrs. George Iraki. In a moment, everything they had built was gone. What remained was grief, uncertainty, and a family without shelter.
The Foundation stepped in. What began as a moment of loss has become a story of restoration — a new home was built for the Iraki family, giving them renewed security, stability, and a place to truly call their own.
George and his family now sleep soundly. Their children go to school without the weight of homelessness. Their future is restored.
The Transformation
Before & After
From unsafe structures to dignified homes — the transformation speaks for itself.

“The Foundation remains committed to uplifting the most vulnerable — especially women, children, youth, and the elderly — through compassion-driven initiatives that restore dignity, improve living conditions, and inspire hope.”
